Handcrafted by esteemed maker, Thomas Hoyer, in Höfner's Hagenau worshop, this instrument is a culmination of over 130 years of Hofner experience and excellence. Featuring seasoned tonewoods sealed with a tradional oil varnish and finely carved rosewood fittings, this instrument produces a dark and powerful sound which will satisfy the most demanding of players. This violin has been painstakingly constructed upon the measurements of the famous Viotti violin made by famous master maker Antonio Stradivari; the rich shading and timeworn varnish has been lovingly replicated by hand to honour this historic instrument.
