Artist and Artisan
The ‘Artist and Artisan’ evening will be an engaging and informative evening, featuring a piano performance and a technical discussion about the Shigeru Kawai piano. Presented by Kawai representative Andrew Rumsey and piano technician Paul Tunzi, learn the finer details of what is involved in a piano recital. For any performance to occur, it needs two people – the artist and the piano artisan. Nothing can happen effectively without both working together for a common goal.
The evening will include a discussion/Q&A along with a performance, featuring works by Debussy, Liszt, Bach-Busoni, Saint-Saens and more.
